A volcanic, spicy red — Syrah from Lazio South of Rome, on volcanic soil that the vines thrive in, Gabriele Gaffino was the first in his family to produce and bottle wine under his own name. Since then, the estate has been working organically, letting the soil speak for itself. Opimiam is his most straightforward Syrah — intense and uncompromising.
