100% Syrah, the peppery variety that finds its most intense expression on volcanic soil. This estate, located 20 km from Rome, boasts 60 years of history. A deep ruby colour with violet hues. An explosive nose: black pepper, blackcurrant, with a hint of cinnamon and leather. The palate is full-bodied and warm, supported by ripe tannins that six months in oak barrels have softened without weighing it down. A long, spicy finish, with that subtle animal note characteristic of the great reds of Lazio.
Ideal with matured red meat. Ageing potential: 8 years. Serving temperature: 18°C
