AREA OVEJA NEGRA CABERNET/SYRAH RESERVA COLCHAGUA CHILI 2022 75CL

Made from vineyards planted more than 20 years ago in our Nilahue estate, Colchagua Valley this red wine composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah, presents an intense red dress with purple reflections. The proximity of clay soil, with gravel in different strata, maintains the vineyard with medium to low vigour, favoring the natural concentration of fruit expression.

Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats gives the wine an expressive nose on red fruit, reared in new and used French and American barrels, for a period of time varying according to the vintage. In the palate the wine is tannic of good length ideal to accompany the dishes raised. A perfect balance between fruit and wood touches.
