Alexana Estate was founded in 2005 when Dr Madan Revana, together with winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash, discovered an 80-acre plot in the Dundee Hills, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The estate’s first single-vineyard Pinot Noirs quickly established its reputation.

The history of Alexana Estate, situated in the Dundee Hills at the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, began in 2005 when Dr Madan Revana met the renowned winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash and discovered an exceptional 80-acre plot. From the very first vintages, the single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from the Willamette Valley laid the foundations for the estate’s reputation, which is now recognised as one of Oregon’s leading producers of Pinot Noir.

In 2012, Alexana opened a LEED Gold-certified gravity-fed winery, designed to preserve the quality of the grapes and fully express the terroir of the Dundee Hills. The wines quickly gained international recognition, notably with an Alexana Pinot Noir ranked in Wine Spectator’s Top 100, confirming the region’s exceptional potential.
