A young couple of passionate winemakers have chosen to embark on the production of Italian wines in the Valpolicella appellation, one of the most renowned terroirs in Veneto. Their 12-hectare family-run vineyard benefits from two distinct microclimates, which are conducive to the expression of the terroir and the quality of the grapes. This diversity enables them to produce elegant, structured Valpolicella wines, including an Amarone della Valpolicella of great finesse, the estate’s signature wine.
Gabriele and Miriam’s journey into the world of wine began within a family deeply rooted in the land and its bounty. Together, they represent the first generation of La Dama winery, driven by a sincere and committed vision. This dream truly took shape in 2006 thanks to the support of Miriam’s father, Giampietro, a Veronese entrepreneur who immediately believed in their project and helped them acquire their first vineyards. Today, the estate covers sixteen hectares, ten of which are vineyards spread across the Ca’ Besi and Colombarino estates.
Located in the heart of the Negrar Valley, within the Valpolicella appellation, the vineyard benefits from a terroir that is particularly well-suited to organic viticulture. Here, respect for the land guides every action. Spontaneous fermentation plays a vital role, allowing the wines to truly express their identity and origin.

Each bottle thus tells a story: that of patient work carried out through the seasons, of the richness of native grape varieties and of a preserved terroir. Committed to organic farming since 2015, the La Dama estate strives to reveal, with every tasting, an authentic, precise and deeply sincere expression of Valpolicella.
