CALMEL ET JOSEPH LES GRANDS CEPAGES IGP D'OC ROUGE VILLA BLANCHE MERLOT 2019 75CL

Crimson red color with bright reflections. The nose is marked by notes of very ripe black cherries but also scents of garrigue and tapenade. We understand that we are dealing with a Merlot but with a very southern character. The mouth is greedy, round and generous with ripe and well melted tannins. We find the aromas of red fruits, the flesh of the bigarreau cherry and the Mediterranean spices. This Languedoc Merlot is a subtle balance between tradition and modernism for this emblematic grape variety. The wine is aged in 1 year old barrels for 3 months.
