CALMEL ET JOSEPH LES GRANDS CEPAGES IGP D'OC BLANC CHARDONNAY VILLA BLANCHE 2020

Brilliant, limpid pale yellow color with hints of green. It is a very sunny wine this year due to a very hot and windy summer. Powerful aromas of white fruits such as apricot and peach mingle with aniseed notes bringing a lovely freshness. We then feel the exotic delicacy of coconut vanilla which adds complexity to the nose. In the mouth, it is a nice balance between density and tension. The fruit is fully expressed thanks to the toasted hints of grilled hazelnut, bringing depth. Still just as flattering, with a hint of saline at the very end of the palate, Villa Blanche Chardonnay remains true to its typical character. The Chardonnays are aged for 3 months in oak barrels. They are then bottled.
