CALMEL AND JOSEPH RARE VDF VDF LA RUFFE ROUGE 2016

Deep purple red color. The first nose is typical of this ruffe terroir with aromas of garrigue, wild and spicy. Then appear the peat, truffled notes in a very Mediterranean style. The mouth is very elegant, very balanced with its melted, silky and persistent tannins. The natural freshness of this wine is still exceptional: small red fruits, truffles, garrigue but also notes of black tapenade create a beautiful harmony. A rare cuvée that can be discovered today on this vintage or kept for many years in the cellar. 40% Syrah, 60% Carignan Aged for 18 months in two-year-old barrels. No gluing.
