The best terroir of Morgon, at the foot of the Côte du Py hill.
The grape is harvested on a plot of 42 acres on the ground very caillious, schistose, rich in iron oxides, qualitative of this appellation.
It gives a wine of a very fresh, vivid purple, raised in barrels. Its aromas of kirsch with peppery shades delicately blend with animal and vegetable notes.
During fermentation, the wine is macerated for 12 to 14 days to extract the maximum of its potential.
Then the wine is raised in oak barrels for 12 months.
Ideal for rich dishes with complex fragrances, like a duck with peaches.
